Hello,

Verse of the day: John 14:21: He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

How are you doing? Hopefully well in Christ, am writing this blog on December 25, and for some reason, I feel really down, it’s like I feel so lonely for not having people close to me, like I see others on their social media posts, of course, this is how the devil works, always making you feel like you are missing out on the things of this world, It gets me sometimes though, I won’t lie, I am weaker in my spiritual life in Christ than before. Keep praying for me to keep moving strongly in Christ. “Thank you LORD for everything and forgive me for not being grateful, even though you have continued to keep me for your will all this while”.

Alright “Lust is not love”, is it just me? but love is not what it is nowadays. Well some may disagree, but if you are truly born again in Christ, you will realise all this in no time. People nowadays are not professing their love for one another, they are just expanding on their lust. I mean, look around you, husbands and wives (not wives and wives or husbands and husbands) are divorcing a lot nowadays, well you ask them why they popularly respond has always being that “we just don’t love each other anymore”. What?? The truth of the matter is that Love never ends! “How can you claim that you love someone and all of a sudden, you don’t love that person anymore”. Alright, for me not to turn a blind eye, I know that there are some situations such as cheating in a marriage where one may be entitled to come to the conclusion of not loving someone anymore.

Am mainly emphasizing those horrible individuals out there who hop from one relationship to another, defiling and selling their bodies as they hop along in relationships. Truth be told, they don’t really love each other from the start “those individuals jump into relationships because the other person looks pretty (vein), has a nice body (that will all fade away in no time, and those ants will have a lot of plates on their table to devour when the time comes), and because of personalities. You see? all these things eventually fade away or changes along the line, which is probably why they end that relationship and hop into another, pursuing the same things and keeping that cycle alive. The fact of the matter is that when it comes down to these things, it is not love, because love never ends, it is lust, “it is based on how you see the other person or what you want from that individual, which you eventually get and try to move on with your life. SAD!!! and SICK!!!

Short blog and a bit all over the place, but my points are clear enough, so I think. Here is what the Bible says about love

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

“Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away”.

To sum the whole thing up, “Charity is love”, read these verses again, interchanging love for charity.
