In The Last Days(REPOST).

Hello,

Verse(s) of the day: Romans 2:17-24: Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

How are you doing? if you are not doing alright for some reason, remind yourself that as long as your trust and belief in Christ, you are alright. Been a while, but I am ok as well, am in this phase of life, where am trying to find myself and stand more firm in Christ, and let go of all the things in this world that are holding me down and pulling me away from God. Although it is not easy right now, I know it will eventually pay off. Recently, I had cut the ties that I have with this world, such as social media (because it distracts me a lot, and contains nothing other than content that doesn’t please God, it contains girls who are not dressed or not dressed or you can say half-naked if that is a thing nowadays. Also, I had recently let go of friends that I never had (who only want their progress through you, some among them claim to be Christians, but their fruits are so far off, for real they are more wicked in their ways, even than those who openly proclaim horrible and wicked lifestyles). To top it off, am recently trying to grow more in things of God, by engaging in reading and understanding the scripture more. There was this girl in my school who claims or be a Christian and one day because we were released by our lecturer early, She told me that she had nothing to do when she gets home, and me just being me, I suggested to her reading the Bible, and she replied, do I have to and told me she doesn’t. The next day, I asked her, and she told me she didn’t and that she slept. How can you claim to be a Christian, without not wanting to know and understand the book (Bible) that holds the record of Christ you claim to follow. For real, no joke, these individuals claim to know and follow Christ, but they never even opened their Bible before, they will rather believe what had been said by a preacher. Truth be told, some of those preachers know nothing as well, they are followers of another Christ, they follow the generic God, the one even the Buddhists and Hindus call upon.

Enough of me ranting, and back to the main purpose of the blog, probably not ranting, since all the rants as well are part of things to expect in these last days. In general, I have been getting there, takes time, but good things take time. I can not expect to suddenly know all that is in the scripture overnight, it’s a progressive thing. Keep praying for me as well, although it’s not easy, since a lot of the things I want to give up for the sake of Christ are still not letting go. I still see, do, touch and experience them. But I know it’s a matter of time, and all these things willfully go. Thanks for your prayers, thanks for stopping by and thanks for reading. KEEP THE FAITH STRONG!!!

{Hymn} Victory In Jesus.

I heard an old, old story,
How a Savior came from glory,
How He gave His life on Calvary
To save a wretch like me;
I heard about His groaning,
Of His precious blood’s atoning,
Then I repented of my sins
And won the victory.

Chorus
O victory in Jesus,
My Savior, forever.
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory, Beneath the cleansing flood.

I heard about His healing,
Of His cleansing pow’r revealing.
How He made the lame to walk again
And caused the blind to see;
And then I cried, “Dear Jesus,
Come and heal my broken spirit,”
And somehow Jesus came and bro’t
To me the victory. (Chorus).

I heard about a mansion
He has built for me in glory.
And I heard about the streets of gold
Beyond the crystal sea;
About the angels singing, And the old redemption story,
And some sweet day I’ll sing up there
The song of victory. (Chorus).

Dark days are many, but a day full of light overshadows them. (it was supposed to be posted in April).

Hello, How are you doing? Hopefully well in Christ and in the right state of mind. Been a while from me, yeah, but no excuse, here I am again. I am currently writing my final exams for this semester. Keep praying for me regarding this Let’s beat around the bush a bit. Life just feels like life is empty. For real, what is the purpose of life without God? (not the generic worldly God). Life is empty, it just takes and takes and never gives back. Life placed us all in a rat race, we are all on the move for the next race of life. Trends come, we follow them, a celebrity comes, we follow them, culture comes, we follow it. Same cycle every day, till our days, run down. What is life on its own without a purpose? basically nothing, other than just live it for the sake of living it.

If you decide to not run the rat race of life with the sprinters, they will run you down. For just being different, they will cast you out. For just being a Christian, they will nail you down every day. Sometimes, it does get to some of us. we do feel pressured and this makes us lay down all our good course of Christ, just to pick up a spike shoe and join the same rat race of life.

Life, what did you do to us? you made us horrible, you created a race for everyone, but made an easy way out for your special ones. Life, you created force happiness and false hope for us, meanwhile, you know the bounty on your head has been completed. Life, you blinded their eyes, so they wouldn’t listen to instructions. Christians know you do these things because you know you don’t want to feel lonely after your destruction has been delivered to you on a plate by Jesus Christ.

Christians will try to warn the non-believers, or those false Christians claiming to love God but doing otherwise, they will hate you simply because you are a Christian, you are an enemy to them. There is a target on us, they are always trying to look for your fault, any slight mistake, they will pounce on you like they are good people themselves (well, they believe that funny enough). They will be on your case like those judges in the courtroom, judging people’s faults, without being able to recognise their own faults.

Let me set the record straight, this blog is not written to make you feel good and make you think that you are a good person. It’s to make you realise that the life outside that in Jesus Christ that you are living in is nothing but a vapour, ‘eventually fades away. you can claim to love god and living for Jesus, ‘but you really do know yourself, You can deceive people with your false Christian faith. you can enjoy that false living now, it’s coming back to enjoy you. you can play us, but remember, God is not mocked”. {Hymns} I can feel at home any more

This world is not my home, I’m just a passing through
My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue;
The angels beckon me from heaven’s open door,
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.

Chorus:
O Lord, you know I have no friend like you,
If heaven’s not my home, then Lord what will I do?
The angels beckon me from heaven’s open door,
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.

2 They’re all expecting me, and that’s one thing I know,
My Savior pardoned me and now I onward go;
I know He’ll take me thro’ tho’ I am weak and poor,
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore. [Chorus]

3 I have a loving Savior up in glory-land,
I don’t expect to stop until I with Him stand,
He’s waiting now for me in heaven’s open door,
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore. [Chorus]

4 Just up in glory-land we’ll live eternally,
The saints on every hand are shouting victory,
Their songs of sweetest praise drift back from heaven’s shore,
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore. [Chorus]

{Hymns} I’ll Fly Away

Some glad morning when this life is o’er,
I’ll fly away;
To a home on God’s celestial shore,
I’ll fly away (Chorus)

Chorus
I’ll fly away, Oh Glory
I’ll fly away; (in the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).

When the shadows of this life have gone,
I’ll fly away;
Like a bird from prison bars has flown,
I’ll fly away (Chorus)

Just a few more weary days and then,
I’ll fly away;
To a land where joy shall never end,
I’ll fly away (Chorus)

Harsh Reality

Should I just dive into the whole thing? I will probably do it. As a kid, my teachers always ask me who my role model is? Because I loved soccer a lot, I always say Ronaldo, sorry Messi fans. Not until I looked at the whole thing 7 years after, with Christ living in me now. Who is a role model in this world, for real, we could try to be like others, but the bitter truth is that is everyone for themselves. Have you ever thought of it that your role models even care about your interest? Funny enough, my role model then wouldn’t be able to pronounce my last and first name probably. Look at it this way, do we really know what goes on in those people’s lives? Let me answer for everyone, NO!! we don’t, we only get to see what they want us to see. Do you see the low experiences? Do you see the sins they commit in the secret? Do you see the horrible things they can’t uncut in real life? It’s like we have a little bit of truth in us, we know all this, but we are so caught up in trying to feel good and always trying to relate ourselves to other humans who even will wish that we don’t in most cases. A little bit of truth is not getting us anywhere, if you have a little bit of truth, where is the other little to make it whole.

I feel so sad within me that some people still haven’t gotten the reality. Humans are too weak to live in reality. Why is it that immediately after you read or see something that is thought challenging to you, you accept it at first, but still don’t put it into practice? I forgot to add that you are always in a hurry to get through this and hop on Snapchat, the Instagram scrolling tendency as well, where will that get you in life? Only if we can double-tap our Bible verse like we do for those pictures. I feel for you, I have been there as well. The funniest thing is that all the people I told I was going to delete my social media account thought I had depression going on. Your new and not-longing reality has blinded you. Think about this, why is it that your role models get depressed, and then they deactivate their social media accounts to so call recover or find themselves? Sadly, they always pull themselves back into it, because they had been starved of that dopamine for a while.

I love you enough to tell you this, I have been there, I have seen it all, we are not getting anywhere with this lifestyle. Do what makes you happy they say. Quick thought, imagine if what makes someone happy is to hurt or kill people. You are so blinded trying to be nice and not being able to discern what is good from what is totally wrong. Even nice itself won’t want you to be too nice. To sum the whole thing up, this segment is about you being separate from the world, being in it but not of it.

How can we claim to be Christians but don’t actually stand for the main course of your faith “Christ” Christians are meant to be Christ-like, not world-like. Be of Christ, he had won the victory against the world already.

Good Things Takes Time

Hello,

Verse(s) of the day: Titus 3:3-7: For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Hello again, how are you doing? if not fine, remind yourself that Jesus is for you and that Jesus is everything you need as long as you are for God. I have recently been a bit off with my blog website. I would not bit around the bush, I had gone astray, I had recently encountered a lady at my workplace, who I had placed all my attention on, I can’t explain why, but I have not been close to Christ and this is the reason why. I tried to part ways with this lady several times, but the lady kept coming back, saying something and getting me. But thank God I am finally free from the lady. I would say she is very deceptive and manipulating, she wants everything to be her way, and again she is into new age things. Ever since I had encountered this lady, my life had changed for the worst, but I blame myself for starting all this with this lady at first. Here I am now, I thank God for his abundant grace and mercy, and also for the Christians around me, that made me realise that all these things are the ways the devil works to divert people from focusing on God and eventually takes all they have and leave them with nothing.

More so, I tend to procrastinate a lot nowadays, the idea to post a blog is there, the time is there, and the zeal is there sometimes, just for something less important or something not important at all to come up and steal that zeal, and leaves me empty-handed. I am begging you to remember me in your prayers, keep praying for me in regards to my life as a whole, I want Christ, but I am weak, I don’t want the things of this world, but they are all right in your face. Thanks a lot, and I really do appreciate your prayers beforehand, I pray that God grant you your heart’s desires as well. Once again, thanks a lot.

The topic of the blog is probably a saying that we have heard a lot in our lifetime, some say this makes them feel better about their lives and their situations, but truth be told, we should definitely take this saying more serious than before, especially for we Christians. Why especially for we Christians? in general because it is easier to get discouraged in regards to holding on to your faith in this world of today, a lot of things out there in the world are against us. Things that include what we see, what we hear, and what we do, even nowadays, some churches are against Christians, they say things like do whatever you want as long as you are not hurting anybody, meanwhile forgetting that they are hurting Jesus Christ. It’s like it is easier and better for them to hurt God rather than humans. Of course, it’s all about them feeling good and wanting others to give the same good they are giving to back. As sad as this is, many so-called Christians out there believe and do the same thing on a regular basis.

Be sincere, everything is way too against us Christians, but we should all know and for me personally, I know that “we are on the winning side in Christ”, so do not get discouraged over nothing. I say nothing because the things in this world are literally NOTHING. Do not let go of your faith in Christ Jesus. Keep believing and remember, Good Things Takes Time.

{Hymns} Leaning On The Everlasting Arms

1 What a fellowship, what a joy divine,
leaning on the everlasting arms;
what a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
leaning on the everlasting arms.

Chorus:
Leaning, leaning,
safe and secure from all alarms;
leaning, leaning,
leaning on the everlasting arms.

2 O how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way,
leaning on the everlasting arms;
O how bright the path grows from day to day,
leaning on the everlasting arms. [Chorus]

3 What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
leaning on the everlasting arms?
I have blessed peace with my Lord so near,
leaning on the everlasting arms. [Chorus]

{Hymns} Haven Of Rest

1 My soul in sad exile was out on life’s sea,
So burdened with sin, and distressed,
Till I heard a sweet voice saying, “Make Me your choice,”
And I entered the haven of rest.

Chorus:
I’ve anchored my soul in the haven of rest,
I’ll sail the wide seas no more;
The tempest may sweep o’er the wild stormy deep,
In Jesus I’m safe evermore.

2 I yielded myself to His tender embrace,
And faith taking hold of the word,
My fetters fell off, and I anchored my soul:
The haven of rest is my Lord. [Chorus]

3 The song of my soul, since the Lord made me whole,
Has been the old story so blessed,
Of Jesus who’ll save whosoever will have
A home in the haven of rest. [Chorus]

4 How precious the thought that we all may recline,
Like John, the beloved and blessed,
On Jesus’ strong arm, where no tempest can harm,
Secure in the haven of rest. [Chorus]

5 Oh, come to the Savior, He patiently waits
To save by His power divine;
Come, anchor your soul in the haven of rest,
And say, “My Beloved is mine.” [Chorus]

{Hymns} City of Gold.

There’s a city that looks o’er the valley of death,
And its glories can never be told;
There the sun never sets, and the leaves never fade,
In that beautiful city of gold.

Chorus:
There the sun never sets,
and the leaves never fade;
And the eyes of the faithful our Saviour behold,
In that beautiful city of gold.

There the King, our Redeemer, the Lord whom we love,
All the faithful with joy shall behold:
There the righteous forever shall shine as the stars,
In that beautiful city of gold. [Chorus]

Every soul we have led to the foot of the cross,
Every lamb we have brought to the fold–
Shall be there as bright jewels, our crowns to adorn,
In that beautiful city of gold. [Chorus]

There we’ll tell how he loved and redeemed us from sin,
But the half even there can’t be told;
There we’ll sing the new song with the blood-washed at home,
In that beautiful city of gold [Chorus]

Wordly Christian Effect (REPOST).

Verse of the day: 1 Corinthians 4:10: We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.

It’s been a while, Yes!!, the only positive is that I am finally here again though. I have recently completed some of my course assessments and thank God for me passing them all. Right now in life, although the devil is trying to make people around me see me as the enemy, I know I am not and although they think I am a loser, best believe “I am on the winning side in Christ”.

Alright, enough about me and back to the blog “Wordly Christian Effect”. For me, I will describe a worldly Christian as someone who is dangerous and probably more dangerous than unbelievers themselves. Why though you ask? “that is not enough and it’s not even a definition”. A worldly Christian will be those individuals that have one hand on the things that relate to God, such as claiming to be of God but at the same time still dancing with the world.

“Worldly Christians”, how I wish you could realise that sometimes being nice to people can cost them everything, “everything being Christ”. Worldly Christians are the type that doesn’t want to let go of their sins, but at the same time hold on to their Christian beliefs. They always love to talk about the love of God, but not the love of God that hates what God hates. You see this form of people love to tell people about things that generate around the Christian beliefs, except those that call people to repentance and out of their sins. Why will they? when if they do, they are destroying their own shelter. “They come to you like people who have everything to offer, but they leave you with nothing”.

To be sincere with yourself, look around now, isn’t this type of Christians you see around now? “they claim to be working for Christ”, but the question is which christ? It’s like we have all forgotten, there are a lot of false Christs out there. Matthew 24: 23-24: (Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect).

You see, Christ himself warning people who claim to be His about such Christs and their messengers.

A missionary always asks this question from his audience do you know driving in the middle of the road is very dangerous? “Being two ways of course!!!” Yes, probably a lot of people including me too would agree as well. But the bitter truth of the matter is that a lot of Christians are theologically driving in the middle of the road, not staying clear to a course, thinking that they are doing Christ a favour, by trying to be like the world to reach them, I will advise you to watch out before you become soaked into the world itself, and before people start their own course trying to reach you as well.

Only if we decide to read the Bible, (which a lot of so-called Christians don’t and who only use their Bible 52 days in a year “on Sundays”) and know what it is actually about first, before trying to create a false and hell-sending perception of what the Bible says. I have been there as well, trying to act all being nice, and knowing all like lucifer does, without actually picking up my Bible to read “John 11:25”.

The sad part of this whole issue is that you think you are doing God’s will, but rather the opposite. My only prayer is that you realise that you are not doing God any favour, and that the only favour you need is to prevent your soul and the souls of others that are being thought those false ideas of what a Christian is from hell.
