STOP Sugar-Coating the Holy Bible!

Hope you are doing alright, I know life can prove to be hard but remind yourself that Jesus Christ ended it all on the cross (John 18:30) ‘ When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “it is finished”, and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit’and that all you really need is Jesus Christ because He is everything.

Am going to start this segment on my blog post, were at the beginning of each blog am going to be including verse or verses of the day. Today’s verses are from the book of John 15:18-25: “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you, if you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world l, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master’. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. But all these things they will do to you on account of my name because they do not know him who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have been guilty of sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates some hates my Father also. If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin, but now they have seen and hated both me and my Father. But the word that is written in their Law must be fulfilled: ‘They hated me without a cause.

Back to the subject of the blog. Is it just me or you also have come across all of these sources and people out there who only love reciting the Bible verses that in their minds aligns with their lifestyles, which is not of God. A lot of these can also be sentences like “Jesus preached love, why are you hating?”, ” God loves everyone no matter what”, “Thou shall not judge”, ” Judge not”, Love your neighbour as yourself. All these are just referred to as sugar coating the BIBLE, being that you only want to hear and practice the sweet/pleasure-giving verses of the Bible that aligns with your life. “SAD”, you can’t eat your cake and have it, SIR”. In any way or form, you can’t cherry-pick what to practice from the Bible, instead of living by the entire Bible”

From my understanding, the entire Bible themes, events, generations, and everything you can think of all lead to one ultimate theme “Jesus Christ”, “and there is no jumping the step, you have to use your legs one by one”. Take the Bible as it is, not picking only what suits your life or situation.

The thing I find funny is that those who don’t believe in God, are those who mostly argue about the Word of God “The Holy Bible”, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 ” All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

15 Verses From The Book of “PROVERBS” That Got Me Thinking

DISCLAIMER: This blog should have been posted on the 14th of this month (MARCH).

Recently I haven’t be too active with this blog account, not that I should be giving an excuse to work for Christ, but lately I have been doing a lot of school related work and also trying to get closer to God everyday as I can. BUT KEEP PRAYING FOR ME AS WELL!!!.

At the start of this year I had started attending a Monday service Church, so after Monday classes I just go straight to Church, and it has really been a blessing to me ” I really thank God for this”. So I have been giving this pamphlet to work on, it’s about reading the chapters of Proverbs everyday and writing down my thoughts, since there are 31 days in March and 31 chapters in the book of Proverbs “looks perfect to me”. Reading through the book of Proverbs ‘to the 14th chapter’, I had come across a lot of verses that really got me thinking and being like “what that is so thought scattering”, and I really wanted to share 15 of these verses, and hopefully the Holy Spirit can even explain to you more and better.

The numbers of Christians are Decreasing Around The World and the Numbers of atheists are raising. (Proves the BIBLE Right).

Hope you are doing alright as you are reading this? If you are not, remind yourself that Jesus Christ is always available for you and you can always look forward to meeting him one day.

Hold On. Stay Strong. Have Faith. Trust God. Keep Believing. Never Lose Hope. | Trust god, Fire quotes, Quotes about god

Straight to the point of the blog, NOT YET!!. Let me explain some things first, the first being you can’t stop being a Christian, who just suddenly stopped believing in God, rather you have never believed in God and you were never one of Christ’s Followers “Christians”. If I should explain better from a human perspective, which I would,’ you will say well your reason is relative and doesn’t speak for eveyone.

Me saying I just suddenly stopped believing in God who I had believed in all this while is like me saying I had never stepped into a school before after I had achieved the highest university degree. To make it simpler for you to understand, for you to have a thought of God not being real while you are still in your faith, means that you have doubts in your mind even though you pray to him which simply means you never fully believed, hence never even believed in God at all. Probably a lot to take in, but it’s alright, I wish I can emphasis more, but I believe the Holy Spirit in you will explain better to you. AMEN!

Secondly, what does the Bible say about such people, well the Bible has the answer to everything and certainly one for this. According to 1 John 2:18-19

Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.

My brothers and sisters in faith, with the things happening in the world right now, I know it can get overwhelming but keep the faith strong, Our Father in heaven has us covered, don’t decide to leave God now but please endure to the end. I really want us to be with God at the end of our journey. Don’t be surprised if you are seeing a lot of people who has decided to stop trusting Jesus Christ, we know about them as well. Matthew 24:12-13.

And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

This Bible verse is so powerful !!!. It’s like been given an exam paper and the same time been supplied with the answers. The exam paper is what Jesus said about what Jesus Christ told us to expect at the last days and the answer being “Endure still the end and you shall be saved”.

Let us keep pushing on, holding onto Christ, and offering Jesus Christ to everyone in all situations. Thanks for reading and KEEP THE FAITH STRONG!!

When You Decide to Part Ways With God, You are Preparing For Destruction.

I had this blog idea of how when we humans decides to part ways with God, the next thing that follows is always destruction, and how God in his abundant mercy still finds a way for us to exit out of such destruction.

Recently, my life has been good in accordance of the bible, but not until negative thoughts started coming in my head, telling me to move back to my old life, and saddest part of it, it got me. After I sinned, I felt really down and guilty of going against the will of God and his commandment. I had that thought through out the whole day, I wasn’t feeling the peace I had before I sinned. My inner soul really needed that peace and I just started to pour out my self back to God, stating what I have done and really seeking for His grace and mercy to be just as Jesus Christ ” The Sinless Man”. After that whole episode, I was feeling better and I began to experience God’s Love again. Has time went by, I decided to watch a movie, which was about a thug giving his life to Christ and waiting to be used by God. All of a sudden, I had a thought of how when a person decides to part ways with God, destruction comes in and I was like ” wow, maybe that’s what will happen in this movie”.

I began to think about such individuals in the bible who were related to this action, such as Judas Iscariot, Adam and Eve the first two man on earth. Judas Iscariot had everything in his presence which was “Jesus Christ”, but still wasn’t contended and decided to part ways with Jesus by betraying him, which resulted to the destruction of his soul through not being happy and decided to end his life. We all know the story of Adam and Eve as well, blessed individuals, had it all but still decided not to walk in God’s path, which led them to be thrown out of the Garden of Eden.

Image result for stay strong in christ

At the end of this thought, I also thought about how God in his abundant mercy still decide to make a way for us to come back to him even though we decided to leave him “WHAT A GOD WE SERVE”!!!. Judas Iscariot didn’t seek for that mercy, but Adam and Eve did in way which took them from the destruction path.

Jesus also said in Matthew 10:39

Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Although I had not completed the movie, I predicted destruction for the movie character if he decides to part ways with God after he gave his life to Christ but being impatience to be used by God. Lo and behold, the movie character ended up back in his thug life cycle and on a confrontation with another thug group, he was killed.

We all have the tendency of wanting to go back to our sinful lives, but stay strong in Christ because if you decide to part ways with God, destruction follows.

This will be another short blog, but the truth it carries can fill up the whole world. Allow me to beat around the bush a little before heading straight to the point.

In recent times things has become different, some in a good way and a lot in a way that doesn’t please God at all. All these things that doesn’t please God, has place a bounty on our heads for the devil to collect. These bounties include death, sickness, uncertainty, depression, anxiety, and so much negativities.

In a way the pressure is on for everyone and not just the Christians. A Christian will say ” why do you say that?, isn’t a Christian suppose to be immune to all these negativities?. Yes!!!, but as a Christian the eyes of the wicked is all set on you, which certainly puts you into the higher risk category of these negativities.

You saw during the high peak of the early stage of the coronavirus, when the whole world was not stable, and when everyone one were buying all the items in the store because they were anxious about what the next second of life holds. If it had turned out the way you didn’t want it too, which am sure most of us are align to, can you do anything about it, if Almighty God wants it to happen that way??. No!!!. If you are a Christian by all aspect of your life and you could relate to all these, can you please check your faith again and make sure you are right with God?.

For non-Christians who will say “but why are you against your own people?, it’s not that am against them, but I follow what Jesus Christ had said concerning this situation which can be found in the book of Matthew 6 verses 25-34

25: ” Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26: Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27: And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his life span of life? 28: And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29: yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30: But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31: Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘ What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32: For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33: But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34: “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Do not be anxious, for Christ had made it known to us that all we need to do is continually seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all other things in our lives will be covered. Thanks for reading, and Keep the Faith Strong.

Why We Christians Shouldn’t Argue with Unbelievers or Non-Christians, but Just Focus on GOD {Proved with bible verses}

To set the record straight, not arguing with unbelievers and non-Christians doesn’t mean we Christians have to be open to their theologies or accept a saviour they are offering us, which is different from Jesus Christ.

Nowadays a lot of individuals says that “all religions lead to God, we are just taking different paths to meet God”. Some also say “all religions are the same, we believe in say thing but just in different ways”. WOW!!!! The contradiction is unreal. Am sorry but not all religions are the same and not all religions lead to God. In any way or form a Bible-believing Christians have bought into this, make sure you take back the receipt and get your conscience back.

1st Timothy 2:2-6

2: for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in everyway. 3: This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our saviour, 4: who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth 5: For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6: who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.

John 14:6-7

6: Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7: If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”

YOU CAN'T ARGUE WITH FACTS | Gopi Krishna's Blog

A natural human response to a situation of being confronted about one’s belief will generally result to arguing with the other party about it claims. I HAVE BEEN GUILTY OF THIS AS WELL!. But we shouldn’t. Why?, because Jesus Christ made it clear enough and more so Apostles Paul made it clear when writing letter to Titus, His true child in common faith, who was just a Christian like us in the book of Titus 3:9-11 that:

9: But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. 10: As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, 11: knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.

In addition, although the context of the verse below is for workers approved by God, in a way we all are, so I had no choice but to include verses 14 to 19 of 2nd Timothy Chapter 2 which says:

14: Remind them of these things, and charge them before God not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers. 15: Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. 16: But avoid irreverent babble, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness, 17: and their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18: who have swerved from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already happened. They are upsetting the faith of some. 19: But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.

Hopefully this will persuade you to fully lay back in arguments about religions, what a bible verse means and so on, but always stand up for Christ Jesus in winning souls and standing up in situations that will lead to an unbeliever or non-Christian to being saved.

Shortest Reason on why you should always Trust JESUS CHRIST no Matter what, with Support of Bible Verses!!! (Must read for Christians)

To make this really short, the reason why you should always trust Jesus no matter what is because Jesus Christ talked and preached about our lives situations and the current status of the world right now, which are accurate in a way or various ways and for a person to be so accurate about all the current situation of the world now in 2021, which he had talked about 2000 years ago, he had to have be there and seen it all, hence has tips of living right for those who hasn’t,” like you and certainly me”. The bible even proves this in John 1: 1-5

1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2: He was in the beginning with God. 3: All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4: In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5: The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Jesus Christ was the Word. The book of John makes it clear that Jesus had been from the beginning with God. For unbelievers Jesus is just a man who came along the timeline of human existence and claims to be God, But for us Christians Jesus is God and had been before the whole creation.

5 Things I Remind Myself as a Christian, Whenever I Feel Left Out by People Around Me

I know life is always tough for us Christians in preventing various forms of temptation and also to make sure we stay holy as possible because our whole secular world pushes things that are not enabling us to achieve ours goals as Christians, but we should always know that our reward will be greater in heaven if we will endure to the end and cancel out all forms of temptations or people whose main aim will be to prevent you from being a soldier for Christ or prevent people to reach you. Such act prevents people from hearing what we want to tell them which is the “Gospel”, or getting what we have to offer which is “Christ”.

In relation to my experiences, here are some things I reminded myself as a Christian who was getting overwhelmed by worldly activities, comments, and people (unbelievers).

1. God has everything good in his possession and for me to remain good and get everything good, i must stay in God’s presence no matter what.

2. People can look all nice and cool to other on surface, but up there, I don’t know what is going on.

3. If I decide to do the things of the world and stay away from my Christian faith, what do the world offer that i haven’t had before or can what it tend to offer last forever?.

4. If I decide to do what others are doing that doesn’t please God, what am I going to do next after that activity or act that will cancel out the guilt in my heart apart from running back to God? NOTHING.

5. people tend to act like they are really close to each other, but the reality is that people are so far apart than they ever wished for or can’t always be present for each other, and here is why. Your mind always remain to yourself, you act according to what you negotiated with your mind, when you sleep it’s always you and yourself out there. Jesus Christ is always present and can be present in your mind always as well.

Do not let foul words or swear words come out of your mouth as Christians!!!!!

Verse(s) of the day: ISAIAH 56:1-8 “Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgement, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing evil. Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant; Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off. Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; Even them I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be called an house of prayer for all people. The LORD GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

I just want to make this quick one. Recently in my current life experiences, I have come across a lot of self-proclaimed Christians in my social life in a way, who all told me they are Christians and they all swear in various situations of their lives. “Remember the girl I talked about in my last blog?, she told me she had just quit her church ” SAD”, but keep praying for her to find God again so she can be useful for Christ”. I just remembered that, and I decided to let you know. About the self-proclaimed Christians that swear, I have one simple thought scattering question for you, Are you a Christian? Might be easy to answer since a lot of people claim that title nowadays, so let me make it simpler. Are you acting like Jesus Christ who the Bible talked about, not the Jesus you hear from your water down sermons which only emphasise about the love of God and not the wrath, “I can assure you right now the same God you hear about that is all love also have wrath in him for all that include who don’t believe in his Son ” Jesus Christ” and those who go against what he had laid out to work for us as human.

For those who claim to be Christians and swear, sorry to say but you are not a Christian for Christ, you are a lukewarm Christian who has one leg in the world and the other ln trying to lay down in Christ’s path, which is not even recommended by Jesus Christ himself. John 17:16 “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world”. Remember Jesus also said in Matthew 12:34-37 “O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement, For by the words thou shalt be justified, and by they words thou shalt be condemned.” The entire explanation of these Bible verses are pretty straightforward.

I beg and urge you if you fall into this category of individuals, to check if you are saved and get closer to God and let God live through you and your whole character as a person will change and become better in Christ.

Romans 12:1-2 ” I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Titus 2:11-12 “For the grace of God that bringth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, rightously, and godly, in this present world;”

1 Corinthians 15:33 “Be not deceived: evil communication corrupt good manners.

You can’t be of the World and God at the same time

This is going to be a short blog that contains 15 verses that makes it clear for us that ‘we can’t be of God and this world’.

Have had the opportunity lately to be in an academic circle of self-proclaimed Christians, because they told me they are Christians best believe I got me closer to them, and funny enough “everything is not what they seem like”. To cut the story short I was discouraged, not because am “Super-holy” or better than them, but because I found it hard to find a common ground of actually placing them in a Bible-believing Christian standard. Everything about them was so odd, their behaviour was just like what I was like before giving my life to Christ. In a way, it felt like they were blaspheming against the Christian faith. This whole thing for me made me think that they are not saved or they are just too caught up with the things of this world, making them have one hand on the world and the other hand on the Christian Faith. I can’t get a grip of the whole situation, but I will love everyone reading this to continue to pray as I will be also for them and for them to get saved and work for Christ and do God’s will.

This just a little of what I had come across regarding people who claim to be Christian but still their fruits are of the world, which led me to typing this blog on 15 verse(s) from the Bible that sets the record straight on how you can’t be of God and this world.

1. 1 John 2:15 ‘ Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him’.

2. 1 John 2:16For all that is in the world – the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and the pride of life – is not form the Father but is from the world’.

3. 1 John 2:17And the world is passing away along with it’s desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

4. Romans 8:6-8 ‘For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

5. John 17:16 They are not of this world, just as I am not of the world.

6. 1 John 5:4For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith.

7. John 15:19If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

8. Matthew 16:26For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?’

What It Means to Follow | CBN.com

9. 2 Corinthians 3:14Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?’

10. Romans 12:2Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect’.

11. 1 Peter 2:11-12Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. Keep your conduct among Gentiles honourable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation’.

12. 1 Corinthians 5:10 ‘not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world’.

13. Titus 2:11-12For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age,’

14. 2 Corinthians 10:3For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh’.

15. James 4:4You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God’.

Christianity, “The New Political Umbrella”

Hello, To set the record straight, this blog won’t be criticizing individuals that has good intentions towards God’s purpose and towards making the gospel know to all in relation to the contents of this blog.

Recently I had come across local Christian party leaders both online and in-person that are using the Church or Christians in general as a way to get people to vote for them to be able to make laws that will directly link to God’s Command and purpose, of course, I want that for such people but at the same time I have to weigh both sides of this situation and that is it really what is going on or something else is slowly creeping in to act like it’s all for Christ work.

Who doesn’t want God’s people to rule our nations, communities, and so on? “I will prefer God’s people please”, but looking at it this way, the reason why I think this shouldn’t be a big deal is that at the end of the day God controls everything down here and that God uses all kind of people to fulfil his purpose Ephesians 3:11 “In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will”.

For me, something I will make clear is that if we Christians really want to impact our world politically to offer Christ to everyone, we need to start from the root which is preaching the Gospel as it has been and not going straight for the head which is trying to be a form of political leader and try to enforce God way for everyone to abide by. If there is no foundation (preaching to the people as it has been), the building won’t stand (the society). But what do I know am just an 18-year-old trying to reason like a Christian will do.

PSALMS 11:3 “if the foundation are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

The only thing sceptical about this is that, are people trying to use Christianity as an umbrella to get away with or win something they won’t be able to win if they were in the circular world because Christian is mostly united under God’s work or anything that involves God. Unlike in the circular world, a lot of people have similar ideas hence attract the same set of people or attention, some attract more because of what they tend to over for their supporters. To make it easy to understand because I know am making it kind of complicated to explain already, it’s like this if 3 people are going for a political position, a self-proclaimed Christian and 2 unbelievers, the Christian candidate will attract mainly Christian voters, while the other 2 candidates will be battling for the non-Christian voters. That just wants any a bit sceptic about, but again what do I know, am just an 18-year-old who lives by the Holy Bible.
