Things To Be Grateful For

Verse(s) of the day: Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Lately I haven’t been spending time in the presence of God. To be honest, I haven’t at all, lately I have not grown interest in the word of God at all. Which is sad, I have been in a very bad state in life lately. I have not not been devoted in taking the time to reading God’s word and I have sadly picked up the wrong things of this world in stratifying myself. Which is funny that the more I depart away from God, the more I find myself in a very bad place. I really had a thought about the decisions and things that I picked up instead of the Bible, since God still in his abundant mercy still draws my heart. Am never happy to see me going against what God wants, when I claim to be in love with Him. I know what is right and am deciding not to do it. It is definitely a sin in God’s sight.

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

James 4:17

The sad thing about my situation is that I don’t regard God at all, all I think about it’s myself alone meanwhile it should be about Jesus Christ and more so, in areas where I acknowledge God, I only thing about what God has not done, and do not thank Him for those that He had done. It’s been really God’s grace over my life. Today I had a deep thought about where I came from as a person and what God had done for me, I felt really bad and sad for treating God the way I have been doing. I will permanently stick to God now on.

Pray for me also to know God more.

To sum the whole thing up, after this whole episodes of thoughts, these five words came to my mind “Things To Be Grateful For”.

Please stick to God, everything will pay off good in Christ. Thanks for reading and KEEP THE FAITH STRONG!!!!!

Verse(s) of the day: Mark 4:23-25

If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear. And he said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you. For to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.”

The themes of the preaching of the Apostles of Jesus Christ according to the Acts of Apostles, has set the standard for we Christians, because they were the first Christians, because some of them had direct interactions with Jesus Christ himself when he was on earth and  because Jesus Christ had personally assigned them to a heavenly task of being his witnesses all over the world, according Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth”.

The central theme of the Apostles Preaching Is the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who was the Messiah, the resurrection of Christ was the best thing the Apostles preached, since it’s all about how the death of Christ was a bridge for we men to get to God, but also to explain how proclaiming the dead and resurrection of Christ cleanses our sins. Apostle Paul made it clear in 1 Corinthians 15:14-17 “And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain. We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified about God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins”.

Other themes used by the apostles includes fellowshipping together, prayer, fasting, power of the Holy Spirit, baptism and repentance according to Acts 2:38 “And peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized everyone in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit”. All these themes link in ensuring that people repent and be able to be with Christ.

Nevertheless, some churches of nowadays have shifted from preaching resurrection to preaching themes like prosperity. It is all nice all the surface, but Apostle Paul made a solid point about such preaching in 1 Timothy 6:5-9 “and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain. But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these will be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction”.

In conclusion, we should preach the themes of the bible, just as the Apostles did. If we preach the same way they did, the themes of the gospel will also be passed to those who will come after us and Christ will be known by all.

Conflict Within The Church

Verse(s) of the day:

John 11:9-10

Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.

Conflict is a situation that tends to be a significant part of our lives as humans and a thing that should be embraced and solved when it rises. A typical definition for conflict will be “a situation in which in which two or more parties desire goals which they sense as attainable by one or the other but not by both”. Conflict by most people is seen as a thing that shouldn’t be tolerated since it tends to bring division, but conflict also comes with a lot of benefits such as that it increases awareness of problems and finds better methods in solving those problems. Conflict arises in churches as well and it’s about when it actually arises. Moreover, there are mandates set in place by churches to settle conflict, which is very important because conflict can tear apart a church. Jesus Christ himself said this in Mark 3: 24-25 “If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand”.

Sources in which conflict arises in the church includes worship, leadership style, theology, church programmes, and decision making. “Decision making” tend to cause conflict when decisions that are made affect some individuals, for example, a set time for church programme may not be suitable for some church members, due to where they live. Conflict due to “worship” may arise because of preference of worship style. Conflict caused by church programme may be as a result of the church programme being target only towards a certain church audience. All these conflict sources are generally sided towards one direction, which creates room for resolving conflict itself since changes can be made.

These changes involve conflict prevention, management, and resolution. Prevention of the sources of church conflict will involve doing the right thing, which may be in relation to decision making involving church members prior to implementing decisions, and in relation to church programmes, targeting all audience even if not in one programme. Conflict management will include acknowledging the conflict first, in order to incorporate strategies to analyse the conflict, which involves identifying causes of conflict and then bring the parties involved in the conflict together to find a common ground between them, in order to resolve the conflict. An effective way to resolute conflict in the church is to use the guide of Matthew 18, which emphasises the concepts that we are responsible for one another, we are to submit to authority, we are to seek God’s power, and we are to engage in biblical forgiveness.

In conclusion, conflict resolution glorifies God, 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 “All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation”, and conflict should always be solved for this reason.

The Book of Ecclesiastes

Verse(s) of the day: 2 Corinthians 4:10-14

Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’s sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. so then death worketh in us, but life in you. We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken, we also believe, and therefore speak; Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus , and shall present us with you.

I had not been fully committed to posting blogs lately, which shouldn’t be an excuse since the purpose of my whole blog website is to primarily bring people to Christ. Let me sum it up this way that lately I have been busy with school work since it is getting closer to the end of the semester. For the time being, I will just post this. I had just finished reading through the book of Ecclesiastes and “WOW” it’s one of the Bible books that I wished never ended, not that the others are not great, but I can relate this book to my life as a person. Let me put it this way, it’s like I had written this book myself, and that I was just pouring out my emotions and thoughts towards this world into it. “Vanity upon vanity”. I don’t know if it is a bad thing, but I tend not to read the Bible in order, I tend to move from a book to another at random. And remember in one of my previous blogs which was about how I was given a book to write about my thoughts about the 31 chapters of the book of Proverbs, in March. At the end of Proverbs, that was when I saw a heading in Ecclesiastes that says ” All is Vanity”. Ever since then I became eager towards reading the whole book, not until the third week of May l, that I eventually finished reading it, and I can assure you right now that the book of Ecclesiastes is just “WOW”. I can not explain what the content of the book is all about, but the Holy Spirit can. If you haven’t read through the book of Ecclesiastes before, please I advise you as a brother in Christ to stop at and read through it.

God’s Plan Is Our Plan, Our Plan Is Not God’s Plan

Hello, hope you are all doing alright. If not, remember that Jesus Christ had made a promise for us that he will come back for us”the saints” and that he is always with us no matter what is going on. Matthew 28: 18:20 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying ” All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you, and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

Verse(s) of the day: 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, not by word, nor by letter as fromm us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Back to the subject of the blog, “God’s plan is our plan, our plan is not God’s plan”. I had recently engaged in a conversation with a classmate of mine, and one thing led to another down the line during our conversation, she made a comment saying ” our plan is God’s plan” I had a quick thought and I said back to her that no “God’s plan is our plan, our plan is not God’s plan, she later said “true”.

See the source image

After the whole episode of that, have always been thinking about what my response was to her comment, from my knowledge of the Bible, I know that God had always been the writer and we are the readers and I know that God has always been the map provider and we have always been the map seeker. to make it fair and easier to understand, God has been the superior in everything and we have human have been the ones looking up to him as a guide. At that period, I rested the case in my heart and became certain that my response was true, even though I didn’t base it on what the Bible said about it.

The whole thought of this prompted me to make a blog post about it and including some Bible verses that confirm that God’s plan has always been our plan. Here are the Bible verses:

JEREMIAH 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”.

ROMANS 8:28 “ And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

PSALM 33:11 “The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

JEREMIAH 1:5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations”.

2 PETER 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance”.

PSALM 32:8 ” I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye”.

PROVERBS 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

PSALMS 37:23 ” The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way”.

PROVERBS 19:21 “There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand”.

ISAIAH 14:24 “The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:”

EPHESIANS 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordianed that we should walk in them.

EPHESIANS 1:4-5 “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,”

EPHESIANS 1:9-10 “Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him.

Do not let foul words or swear words come out of your mouth as Christians!!!!!

Verse(s) of the day: ISAIAH 56:1-8 “Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgement, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing evil. Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant; Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off. Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; Even them I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be called an house of prayer for all people. The LORD GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

I just want to make this quick one. Recently in my current life experiences, I have come across a lot of self-proclaimed Christians in my social life in a way, who all told me they are Christians and they all swear in various situations of their lives. “Remember the girl I talked about in my last blog?, she told me she had just quit her church ” SAD”, but keep praying for her to find God again so she can be useful for Christ”. I just remembered that, and I decided to let you know. About the self-proclaimed Christians that swear, I have one simple thought scattering question for you, Are you a Christian? Might be easy to answer since a lot of people claim that title nowadays, so let me make it simpler. Are you acting like Jesus Christ who the Bible talked about, not the Jesus you hear from your water down sermons which only emphasise about the love of God and not the wrath, “I can assure you right now the same God you hear about that is all love also have wrath in him for all that include who don’t believe in his Son ” Jesus Christ” and those who go against what he had laid out to work for us as human.

For those who claim to be Christians and swear, sorry to say but you are not a Christian for Christ, you are a lukewarm Christian who has one leg in the world and the other ln trying to lay down in Christ’s path, which is not even recommended by Jesus Christ himself. John 17:16 “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world”. Remember Jesus also said in Matthew 12:34-37 “O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement, For by the words thou shalt be justified, and by they words thou shalt be condemned.” The entire explanation of these Bible verses are pretty straightforward.

I beg and urge you if you fall into this category of individuals, to check if you are saved and get closer to God and let God live through you and your whole character as a person will change and become better in Christ.

Romans 12:1-2 ” I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Titus 2:11-12 “For the grace of God that bringth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, rightously, and godly, in this present world;”

1 Corinthians 15:33 “Be not deceived: evil communication corrupt good manners.

You can’t be of the World and God at the same time

This is going to be a short blog that contains 15 verses that makes it clear for us that ‘we can’t be of God and this world’.

Have had the opportunity lately to be in an academic circle of self-proclaimed Christians, because they told me they are Christians best believe I got me closer to them, and funny enough “everything is not what they seem like”. To cut the story short I was discouraged, not because am “Super-holy” or better than them, but because I found it hard to find a common ground of actually placing them in a Bible-believing Christian standard. Everything about them was so odd, their behaviour was just like what I was like before giving my life to Christ. In a way, it felt like they were blaspheming against the Christian faith. This whole thing for me made me think that they are not saved or they are just too caught up with the things of this world, making them have one hand on the world and the other hand on the Christian Faith. I can’t get a grip of the whole situation, but I will love everyone reading this to continue to pray as I will be also for them and for them to get saved and work for Christ and do God’s will.

This just a little of what I had come across regarding people who claim to be Christian but still their fruits are of the world, which led me to typing this blog on 15 verse(s) from the Bible that sets the record straight on how you can’t be of God and this world.

1. 1 John 2:15 ‘ Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him’.

2. 1 John 2:16For all that is in the world – the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and the pride of life – is not form the Father but is from the world’.

3. 1 John 2:17And the world is passing away along with it’s desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

4. Romans 8:6-8 ‘For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

5. John 17:16 They are not of this world, just as I am not of the world.

6. 1 John 5:4For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith.

7. John 15:19If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

8. Matthew 16:26For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?’

What It Means to Follow |

9. 2 Corinthians 3:14Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?’

10. Romans 12:2Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect’.

11. 1 Peter 2:11-12Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. Keep your conduct among Gentiles honourable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation’.

12. 1 Corinthians 5:10 ‘not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world’.

13. Titus 2:11-12For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age,’

14. 2 Corinthians 10:3For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh’.

15. James 4:4You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God’.

STOP Sugar-Coating the Holy Bible!

Hope you are doing alright, I know life can prove to be hard but remind yourself that Jesus Christ ended it all on the cross (John 18:30) ‘ When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “it is finished”, and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit’and that all you really need is Jesus Christ because He is everything.

Am going to start this segment on my blog post, were at the beginning of each blog am going to be including verse or verses of the day. Today’s verses are from the book of John 15:18-25: “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you, if you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world l, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master’. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. But all these things they will do to you on account of my name because they do not know him who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have been guilty of sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates me hates my Father also. If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin, but now they have seen and hated both me and my Father. But the word that is written in their Law must be fulfilled: ‘They hated me without a cause.

back to the subject of the blog. Is it just me or you also have come across all of these sources and people out there who only love reciting the Bible verses that in their minds aligns with their lifestyles, which is not of God. A lot of these can also be sentences like “Jesus preached love, why are you hating?”, ” God loves everyone no matter what”, “Thou shall not judge”, ” Judge not”, Love your neighbour as yourself. All these are just referred to as sugar coating the BIBLE, being that you only want to hear and practice the sweet/pleasure-giving verses of the Bible that aligns with your life. “SAD”, you can’t eat your cake and have it, “SIR”. In any way or form, you can’t cherry-pick what to practice from the Bible, instead of living by the entire Bible”

From my understanding, the entire Bible themes, events, generations, and everything you can think of all lead to one ultimate theme “Jesus Christ”, “and there is no jumping the step, you have to use your legs one by one”. Take the Bible as it is, not picking only what suits your life or situation.

The thing I find funny is that those who don’t believe in God, are those who mostly argue about the Word of God “The Holy Bible”, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 ” All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

Christianity, “The New Political Umbrella”

Hello, To set the record straight, this blog won’t be criticizing individuals that has good intentions towards God’s purpose and towards making the gospel know to all in relation to the contents of this blog.

Recently I had come across local Christian party leaders both online and in-person that are using the Church or Christians in general as a way to get people to vote for them to be able to make laws that will directly link to God’s Command and purpose, of course, I want that for such people but at the same time I have to weigh both sides of this situation and that is it really what is going on or something else is slowly creeping in to act like it’s all for Christ work.

Who doesn’t want God’s people to rule our nations, communities, and so on? “I will prefer God’s people please”, but looking at it this way, the reason why I think this shouldn’t be a big deal is that at the end of the day God controls everything down here and that God uses all kind of people to fulfil his purpose Ephesians 3:11 “In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will”.

For me, something I will make clear is that if we Christians really want to impact our world politically to offer Christ to everyone, we need to start from the root which is preaching the Gospel as it has been and not going straight for the head which is trying to be a form of political leader and try to enforce God way for everyone to abide by. If there is no foundation (preaching to the people as it has been), the building won’t stand (the society). But what do I know am just an 18-year-old trying to reason like a Christian will do.

PSALMS 11:3 “if the foundation are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

The only thing sceptical about this is that, are people trying to use Christianity as an umbrella to get away with or win something they won’t be able to win if they were in the circular world because Christian is mostly united under God’s work or anything that involves God. Unlike in the circular world, a lot of people have similar ideas hence attract the same set of people or attention, some attract more because of what they tend to over for their supporters. To make it easy to understand because I know am making it kind of complicated to explain already, it’s like this if 3 people are going for a political position, a self-proclaimed Christian and 2 unbelievers, the Christian candidate will attract mainly Christian voters, while the other 2 candidates will be battling for the non-Christian voters. That just wants any a bit sceptic about, but again what do I know, am just an 18-year-old who lives by the Holy Bible.

Thanks for reading and “keep the faith strong”.

Why We Christians Shouldn’t Argue with Unbelievers or Non-Christians, but Just Focus on GOD {Proved with bible verses}

To set the record straight, not arguing with unbelievers and non-Christians doesn’t mean we Christians have to be open to their theologies or accept a saviour they are offering us, which is different from Jesus Christ.

Nowadays a lot of individuals says that “all religions lead to God, we are just taking different paths to meet God”. Some also say “all religions are the same, we believe in say thing but just in different ways”. WOW!!!! The contradiction is unreal. Am sorry but not all religions are the same and not all religions lead to God. In any way or form a Bible-believing Christians have bought into this, make sure you take back the receipt and get your conscience back.

1st Timothy 2:2-6

2: for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in everyway. 3: This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our saviour, 4: who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth 5: For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6: who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.

John 14:6-7

6: Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7: If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”

YOU CAN'T ARGUE WITH FACTS | Gopi Krishna's Blog

A natural human response to a situation of being confronted about one’s belief will generally result to arguing with the other party about it claims. I HAVE BEEN GUILTY OF THIS AS WELL!. But we shouldn’t. Why?, because Jesus Christ made it clear enough and more so Apostles Paul made it clear when writing letter to Titus, His true child in common faith, who was just a Christian like us in the book of Titus 3:9-11 that:

9: But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. 10: As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, 11: knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.

In addition, although the context of the verse below is for workers approved by God, in a way we all are, so I had no choice but to include verses 14 to 19 of 2nd Timothy Chapter 2 which says:

14: Remind them of these things, and charge them before God not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers. 15: Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. 16: But avoid irreverent babble, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness, 17: and their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18: who have swerved from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already happened. They are upsetting the faith of some. 19: But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.

Hopefully this will persuade you to fully lay back in arguments about religions, what a bible verse means and so on, but always stand up for Christ Jesus in winning souls and standing up in situations that will lead to an unbeliever or non-Christian to being saved.
