Day 5 of this new year. Went to work yesterday, and I was looking after a very old lady who was receiving end of life care. Although I have looked after a lot of people receiving end of life care, It’s still a very sad thing to see. Just makes me appreciate my life more and the people around me. Makes me think as well, about how everything in this life counts for nothing without God. We came to this world with nothing, and we certainly go with nothing. That’s what everyone says.
As Christians, we came to this world of sin with nothing, and we go with our Lord and Saviour “Jesus Christ” into eternal life. Although the Lady was none communicative, due to the end of life treatment she had been receiving, I did pray for her to find the Grace of our Lord and Saviour to enter eternal life. I really do hope God will.
Life is sad. Life is precious. Full of ups and downs. Regardless of all this, live it for God. Appreciate all what you have. Appreciate people, especially your family and our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Let’s forgive one and other, as our Lord did to us.
Here are some Bible Verses about Forgiveness, enjoy.
