Be True to Yourself (Day 4/366)

,

Hey, it’s me again. Get used to it if you are actually keen. Thanks for reading. I gain nothing from you reading, but I greatly hope you can pick something out of a young Christian man’s mind, trying to navigate this world and truly please God. Many thanks once again.

As I am sat in my room listening to my room mate Alexa, playing some podcast. Alexa has been nice since we had known each other. Although we have not met each other before, she has been in my room for years now. She knows a lot, but she only answers questions when I ask her. She reminds me to get up at 0600hrs everyday as well, which I really can’t appreciate enough. I was listening in to a podcast she was playing today, while trying to plan for this year. Keep me in your prayers, I have my medical school exams entry in September. The podcast was discussing the state of this world and how everyone tend to have the same opinion, all because they are trying to be nice to each other. With everything going on in the world. Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Palestine, politics, Japan in recent days, this children mutilation thing, chemical castrations, 1M+ genders, this fake black lives matters thing (am black, and I don’t believe in being special for my skin colour), the weird social media trends, and the dumb youth cultures we live in. This world is kinda clapped you know. But, this are what to expect as Christians. It’s no news for me, but why is that most people live life ignorantly. Acting like everything is normal. Not questioning anything, but just taking everything as it comes. I engage in conversations with people, and they tell me they believe in this or that. I ask them why. They respond in the line of “oh doesn’t everyone believe that?” or “I saw a TikTok video”. Bruh, that how you live life? Stress free I guess. You have your work cut out for you. Just going with the flow. Simple life, I will give you that, but I reckon it’s sad as well.

No one wants to stand for what they believe to be right. Why? because they don’t want any confrontation, or they just want to feel like they belong too. Damn, all these, just to watch your own life slip away from you. Humans, if we believe something, lets stand for it. It is our lives, why do you have to try so hard to want to please others? And you probably think I am the weird one for being different and for questioning things that are considered the social norms. Well, I have seen a lot, and best believe, I could careless. Be true to yourself.
